About Us

Our Mission

At Emergency Sandbag Response (ESR), our mission is to provide innovative, efficient, and reliable sandbag solutions to protect communities and critical infrastructure from flooding and natural disasters. As a company based in Florida, we understand firsthand the devastating impact of floods and are dedicated to helping others stay prepared and resilient.

Our Story

ESR was founded by Albert Sotero, who having experienced the aftermath of severe floods as a native Floridian, was determined to find a better way. He saw how time-consuming and resource-intensive the sandbag-filling process could be, this inspired him to modernize a centuries-old practice, leading to the creation of ESR's innovative system.

  • Transforming Readiness into Resilience: Our innovation reshapes the battle against time and tides, turning hours into minutes for safer communities.

Why ESR Stands Out

  • Fire truck with an emergency sandbag response system, featuring a blue engine, mounted on the back, with trees and tents in the background.

    Innovative Technology

Our patented tailgate technology attaches easily to most dump trucks, allowing us to fill a 30-pound sandbag in less than five seconds. This means we can produce nearly 1,500 sandbags in an hour, a feat unmatched in the industry.

  • Group of people, including a police officer and volunteers, gathering and organizing white and red sandbags outdoors near a pond and trees.

    Efficiency and Cost-Effectiveness

By eliminating the need for manual shoveling, our system reduces the manpower required for sandbag filling. This not only speeds up the process but also decreases overtime expenses and minimizes the risk of physical exhaustion or injuries among city and county staff.

  • Five red fire trucks parked in a row on pavement with palm trees and blue sky in the background.

    Mobility and Scalability

ESR's system is mobile and self-contained, requiring no additional equipment or storage. We can quickly deploy multiple trucks to different locations, providing flexible and comprehensive coverage during emergencies.
