ESR Provides Free Sandbags at Miami Gardens Community Preparedness Giveaway
Emergency Sandbag Response (ESR) is proud to announce our participation in the Hurricane Preparedness Supply Giveaway for the second consecutive year as part of our ongoing commitment to community resilience. This vital community event is organized by the City of Miami Gardens and presented by Vice Mayor Robert Stephens III, in partnership with Councilwoman Katrina Wilson, Councilman Reggie Leon, and The Home Depot.
Our partnership is built on a shared commitment to effective, stress-reducing solutions.
“I’m extremely grateful for the partnership that we have. It’s a very proactive system, and it takes a lot of stress off the overall community when you have machines that can prepare the sandbags for you.”
This sentiment is at the heart of why we are participating tomorrow – to help take some of the stress out of hurricane preparedness by providing critical resources directly to residents.
What Will Be Provided?
In partnership with the City and The Home Depot, residents will receive a free hurricane preparedness kit that includes necessities such as bottled water (2 cases per vehicle), a 2-pack of LED flashlights, and a first aid kit. Please note that it is one kit per car, and a Photo ID is required to verify Miami Gardens residency.
In addition to these supplies, the ESR team will be on-site giving away FREE SANDBAGS. This is a crucial opportunity for residents to acquire a first line of defense to protect their homes and property from potential water damage this season.
Why Preparedness Matters
At ESR, we believe that proactive preparedness is the most effective way to mitigate the impact of severe weather. Events like this giveaway are essential for empowering residents and strengthening community-wide resilience. We are honored to stand with the leadership of Miami Gardens to help ensure families are better prepared for what this hurricane season may bring.
